Communication Laboratory
  • Well-equipped with sophisticated test setups, ranging from basic communication system to advanced communication system.

  • Test Setups are well supported by high frequency oscilloscopes, spectrumanalyzer and function generators.

  • Advanced setups include optical fiber system, mobile communication system and digital network.

Analog Laboratory
  • Fully equipped with latest test and measuring instruments.

  • Equipment includes Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzer, Pulse Generators, Function Generators, Analog and Digital IC Testers and Digital Multi-meters.

  • Has a good range of Active and Passive components to perform experiments in Analog Electronics.

Microprocessor & Microcontroller Laboratory
  • Students learn about hardware and programming of processors.
  • Universal programmer is available to facilitate hands-on programming of PROM'S to the students and especially for project work.
  • Also facilitates the students to work with micro controllers.
  • PCs are available for assembly programming using MASAM and to interface with the external devices.

Microwave & Antenna Laboratory
  • Provides theoretical and meaningful laboratory experience in microwave techniques to the students.
  • Consists of seven-microwave benches: Frequency Meter, Attenuator, Tunable Probe, Detector Mount, Cathode Ray Oscilloscope and VSWR Meters.
  • Four benches use Klystron power supply and three are Gunn oscillator test benches.
  • Microwave components are also available for the students.
  • Equipped for making measurements of antenna parameters at frequencies ranging from800MHz to 1250 MHz.
  • Equipped with antenna plot using relevant software.
  • There is also a provision of an acoustic chamber.

 

Digital Signal Processing Laboratory  
  • Facilities to provide the concepts of Real-Time and Non-Real-Time applications on the DSP kits & MATLAB.
  • DSP kits are used in applications like Imaging, Multimedia and Video Communication.
  • DSP kits are used in applications like Telephony, Modems, Digital Still Camera and VoIP.
  • DSP kits are used in control system applications like motor control, storage and digital control system.
  • Signal processing toolbox for learning concepts of signal processing.
  • Facilities for working with MATLAB Simulink are available.
  • Equipped with facilities for under-graduate and post graduate students.
  • Provides a network of 34IBMsystems and one IBM server.
  • Computers support state-of-the-art CAD tools.
  • Also facilitates equipment with FPGA and CPLD test setups.
  • The facilities available lead to even for development and design projects for Ph.D. candidates.
 
Digital Electronics Laboratory  
  • Fully equipped with the latest test and measuring equipment including Oscilloscope, Logic scope, Clock generator, Function generators, Analog and Digital IC Testers, etc.

  • Has a good range of TTL and CMOSICs for validating experiments in digital Electronics.

Industrial Electronics Laboratory extends its service to three laboratory courses  
  • Network Analysis experiments are designed to provide a practical exposure to theoretical aspects covered in the class.
  • Electronic Measurement and Instrumentation experiments give a unique exposure to the instrumentation environment used in modern industry.
  • Power Electronics experiments include component level study and high-end applied experiments.
