12 lacs sq. ft, connected by approximately 10 km internal roads, including huge academic and other buildings, hostels with spacious corridors, big terraces and luxurious rooms brushed with the fragrance of lush green gardens with sprawling lawns harbouring delightful trees and forming a picturesque setting. The whole campus has been beautifully landscaped with waterfalls, fountains, orchards, lawns, forests and a water body, literally tranforming the Shekhawati belt of the Thar desert into an oasis. In a latest survey 89 species of birds (certified by ornithologist from World Wildlife Fund-India) and 16 species of butterflies (certified by lepidopterists from World Wildlife Fund-India) have been identified. The campus has its own power house and captive sewage treatment plant. No ground water is lost and all irrigation is carried out with recycled water. Its rural location is quiet and peaceful, indeed ideal for academic pursuits, close to the nature in its totally pollution-free environment and far away from the hustle-n-bustle of city pollution. |
